Next time you drive past Shattuck and Aileen, check out the corner. Notice anything different? The bench is missing! After a tough life and a recent scorching (and numerous emails and phone calls to Jane Brunner's office), the bus stop bench has been removed. Hopefully this will cut down on the unsavory characters that enjoy impromptu parties on the corner and me less to talk about at our monthly Neighborhood Community Policing Meetings!
